In 1972, Dr. Maciak joined the Newark Police Department. For a number of years he worked as a detective assigned to the Intelligence Unit's Organized Crime Squad. He received several commendations for his services to the department and the community.

Nevertheless, after many years of service, Dr. Maciak realized that the people still need him- but now in a different field. Therefore, he pursued career in chiropractic medicine. Again, he graduated with honors, receiving his doctorate degree in 1983.

After years of servicing the Newark community, he decided to move permanently to Clifton, NJ. His decision was motivated by his Polish heritage and the Clifton community's need for a highly qualified, polish speaking healthcare provider.

Dr. Maciak realized that there are many Polish immigrant's who care about their health, but most of the time, find it difficult to visit a doctor because of the language barrier. He wanted to provide medical attention to Clifton and neighboring residents who really need his service.

Dr. Maciak's practice provides a complete range of services, the highest quality care, and flexible hours to meet the needs of the community. In short he is providing progressive health care for a hard-working community.
